Congratulations to Lynne Chambers, Founder and Executive Director of Legacy Training Inc, and a proud Illinois Humanities grantee partner, for being honored by Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs for her Outstanding Commitment to Community Service.
“Lynne has been a community activist in rural Southern Illinois for over 40 years,” said Treasurer Frerichs at the Women’s History Month Celebration. “A passionate advocate for change, Lynne challenges the status quo with infectious enthusiasm, inspires others, and believes in the power of kindness and the magic of spreading joy like confetti.”
